Primary 6 have been enjoying the topic ‘Greek Myths’ in our new Wordsmith programme. We have studied a range of famous Greek myths and figured out the deeper meaning and teachings behind them.
After studying the myth of King Midas, the children were asked to write a persuasive speech, begging the Satyr to remove his wish of everything he touches turning to gold.
Everyone read out their speech to the Satyr using some excellent actions, voices and props to make it super persuasive. Everyone got into character and delivered their speech with confidence in front of the class.
