After winning their Group Stage three weeks ago, our Girls' Gaelic Football Team journeyed with much excitement and a sight tinge of nervousness to the Castlepark Centre in Lisnaskea for the County Finals.
After three nail-biting games, full of skill and determination, our girls' team qualified for the Final against St Mary's PS Teemore.
This Final is one that will live long in the memories of the girls and the large group watching and cheering on the sidelines. Scores were exchanged by the minute culminating in a DRAW in normal time!
The crowd gathered were then so fortunate to savour another 4 minutes of extra time, where our Girls' Team showed remarkable courage and attitude to come back from one goal down to win by a SINGLE point!!!!
