Primary 5 celebrated Internet Safety Day this year by looking at the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
We discussed the positive and responsible ways to use AI, for example, using Amira Learning or using Gemini to create posters for events. But we also identified how AI can be used in a negative way too, which can be extremely dangerous.
Children were given a range of scenarios and had to decide whether the use of AI was ‘Okay, Not Okay or It Depends’. They then justified their reasoning. We completed further activities on using AI responsibly in our Internet Safety Day booklets.
