Primary 6 used Zoom Earth this afternoon to track the live hurricanes happening across the world at the moment, in line with our topic ‘Natural Disasters’.
We identified current hurricanes names, their categories, their start date and their highest/lowest wind speed.
It was great to see how interested all of the children were and how well they could link their topic work to the real world. They displayed some excellent knowledge when using ICT and recording their findings, alongside working exceptionally well in their pairs!
