Pupils in P5 finished off our topic on America by looking at the way of life for 'Native Americans' and when finding out about the life and achievements of Christopher Columbus, we learnt that he came across the Native Americans during his travels and he wasn't at all kind to them - enslaving them. They made some lovely tepees and head bands. Children took on the role of Columbus whose ship hit a reef, writing messages in a bottle as he sought help when lost at sea.
Some great work. Well done!
