We thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Our Families programme with Fionnula from Young Enterprise Northern Ireland. The sessions were engaging, interactive, and very well suited to our P2&3 children.
The children particularly enjoyed exploring the concept of different types of families, which encouraged meaningful discussion and helped them develop a greater understanding and appreciation of others.
A key highlight of the programme was learning about the difference between things we need and want. The activities were practical and easy for the children to relate to, making these important life skills both fun and memorable. The introduction of saving money was especially valuable, helping the children begin to understand financial responsibility in an age-appropriate way.
Overall, this programme was extremely beneficial, and we would highly recommend it to other primary schools. Thank you, Fionnula, for delivering such an enjoyable and worthwhile learning experience!
