P3/4 went to Florence Court to take part in their activity called 'A Busy Day'. The children travelled back to the Victorian times to work in the big house. They were working in the servants quarter preparing food for a big feast, shining cutlery, polishing shoes, dusting and doing the laundry. After all that they had to go to school. They had their hands inspected for cleanliness and then had to do the 3 Rs (reading, writing and arithmetic). After all that we had time to play with some Victorian toys. It was definitely a busy day and the children had a fantastic.
