Today our class celebrated 'Penguin Awareness Day' as part of our new topic 'Penguins and Polar Bears'.
We are beginning to create 'Penguin Projects' that highlight lots of interesting facts. We completed a rotation of Penguin themed activities;
1. Designed a Penguin Card for Valentines Day
2. Created a fluffy 2D Penguin
3. Made snowflakes
4. Designed a new home for a Penguin
5. Labelled all the important parts of a penguin.
We even got to create a penguin using an empty plastic bottle, highlighting the importance of recycling to help protect penguins.
