We were thrilled to welcome Séamas from the Scoil Spreagtha team to St Mary’s today to celebrate all the wonderful Gaeilge being learned by our pupils and staff with Miss Maguire.
Our pupils in Rang 2, 3 agus 4 proudly showcased their growing confidence in Irish by performing a selection of poems and songs, as well as demonstrating their cúpla focal and basic conversational skills. It was ar fheabhas to see and hear such enthusiasm for Gaeilge!
Rang 5 and Rang 7 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in an interactive workshop with Séamas, where they played The Traitors while learning and practising some new Irish phrases. There was plenty of fun, laughter and learning throughout the session — foghlaim trí spraoi at its best!
A huge go raibh míle maith agat, Séamas, for visiting our school and for your positive words of praise. We are very proud of the progress our pupils and staff are making — maith sibh uilig!
