School Council donates to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland
18th Jun 2025
This year our School Council nominated Air Ambulance Northern Ireland as their chosen charity. Our council organised several fundraising events, including Santa's Run (December) and Break the Rules Day (April).
The fantastic total of £960 was raised!!
This morning we welcomed Hazel McClelland, representing AANI, to our school. Hazel talked to our pupils about the type of incident AANI are called out to and the life-saving work they can do, and the range of people who are employed or volunteer for AANI, including paramedics, medical consultants, pilots, mechanics, etc... She indicated that AANI relies totally on charitable donations, and was amazed by the very generous amount raised by our school community.
We thank all our school community for their support and generosity towards our chosen charity, and congratulate our school council on their hard work and efforts.
