Throughout the year, all classes have been involved in the Scoil Spreagtha programme.
Miss Maguire, our Primary 6 teacher, used the Scoil Spreagtha and Leargas scheme of resources to introduce Irish Language and Culture to all classes, from Primary 1 through to Primary 7.
Weekly lessons (delivered by Miss Maguire) became embedded as part of our enriched curriculum. Pupils and staff were encouraged to use a 'cuplá focal' throughout the day, and this soon became part of our daily routines.
We were delighted to receive the news that we have received our second official accreditation as a Scoil Spreagtha school.
On Friday 20th June, we were invited to a celebratory event in The Enniskillen Town Hall, to receive the award. Our pupils were entertained with workshops, delicious food and a tour of the Town Hall, which they really enjoyed.
Massive congratulations to all our pupils and staff on receiving this award and status, and sincere appreciation to Miss Maguire for all her hard work and effort in delivering the programme.
