Success at St Michael's College Primary 5 Gaelic Football Blitz

Today our Primary 5 boys' Gaelic Football team participated in the annual St Michael's College Gaelic Football Blitz.

The team played with a fantastic array of skill, teamwork, and determination, to overcome the stiff challenges of Bunscoil an Traonaigh, St Mary's' PS Newtownbutler and St Mary's Killesher to qualify unbeaten for the FINAL.

St Mary's Tempo got off to a wonderful start in the FINAL versus St Mary's Killesher, and led by 5 points at half time. However, St Mary's Killesher came out strongly in the second half and pulled the score back level heading into the dying seconds!! And then up stepped Colm Foy, to score a point worthy of Brewster Park (outside of the boot from 30 yards) to clinch victory with the last kick of the ball!!!
