On Tuesday this week our class enjoyed a fun filled day at the Ulster American Folk Park. Children were dressed for their long, long hard journey to America. This trip really brought our current class novel to life and children made many connections to the experiences of the lead characters Sean and Annie. We made our way from Famine Ireland in the rain on the ship to the brighter skies of America. Well done everyone for a lovely day.
