Primary 5 have been studying the topic ‘Victorian Christmas’ during December.
We compared our Christmas today compared to the Victorian Times, we researched where traditions came from and played Victorian Parlour Games, eg Cheese, Blind Man’s Bluff and 20 Questions. We chose our favourite game and displayed our data using J2Easy to create pie charts.
Alongside our topic, we completed a range of Christmas Art, including making cards, wreath decorating, colouring in and making Angels with Mrs Monaghan.
To finish off our topic, we watched A Christmas Carol with hot chocolate!
