Today primary 1 had the pleasure of welcoming Lauren (and Sam) from Three Valley Vets, in Fivemiletown to our school. Lauren talked to the children about the importance of looking after our pets and what foods are dangerous for our pets. She brought lots of equipment that she uses on a day to day basis to help care for all the animals. She brought 'Sam' her stuffed dog along to show children how she can help our four legged friends. All the children were given the opportunity to help make Sam feel better by bandaging his legs and tail! A big thank you to Lauren for coming to see us today and for the lovely treats she left for each child!
