Today we joined with thousands of schools throughout the world to celebrate World Book Day.
World Book Day is a celebration of reading, authors, and books, established by UNESCO in 1995. It encourages reading for pleasure, especially among children.
Today all pupils and staff had lots of FUN dressing up as book characters and doing their FAMOUS catwalk - each pupil received a book token for special £1 books, aiming to give every child a book of their own.
Well done to all our pupils and staff, and a MASSIVE thank you to all parents for helping to prepare our pupils - the children looked FABULOUS!!
