A busy day

Primary 4 had a busy day in Florence Court House.
We had a great morning with Mrs McConkey and Jess. The children had to get dressed up and 'work' in big house to prepare for the christening of Lord and Lady Enniskillen's baby. They had to go to the servant's quarters to help prepare food in the kitchen, polish boots and silverware, dust and clean, wash the clothes, hang them out to dry, iron the clothes and use carpet beaters to clean the carpets. After all that they then had to go to school in the Victorian times! They had to do mental arithmetic, reading and handwriting practice. It was definitely a busy day!
