Our very first book printed on World Book Day in P2&3!

The children have worked extremely hard within their Activity Based Learning groups to create their very first book!
Each group was made up of a scribe, authors, an illustrator and a publisher. Together they came up with an idea for a book with a Pirate theme, as this is our Topic. Titles were decided upon, stories were then mind-mapped before the writing began. Once the authors and scribe got to work, the illustrator got to work on designing the front and back cover as well as the pictures throughout the storybook. The children really enjoyed working together and are so proud of their very first book! What a fantastic way to celebrate World Book Day!
