Outdoor Learning begins to 'blossom' in St Mary's PS

Our Primary 7 children have been very busy preparing our polytunnel for our Spring planting season. Weeds were pulled, and vegetable beds were readied with topsoil, compost and 'natural' fertiliser.

Our P7 pupils then helped our younger pupils from Primary 1, 2 and 3 to plant a range of lettuce, potatoes and spring onions.

This work (outdoor learning) took place just in time for the glorious weather!!
